Anyway, regardless of the Daedric invasion, the fall of Red Mountain was certainly associated with massive social, political and religious upheavals in Morrowind. So the point remains that losing your Tower can seriously disrupt your local reality.

It's absolutely true, I learnt that after a few threads here and gave up posting - and don't ever start a thread in the Lore section assuming you're going to get a straight answer.

I think it started with me putting Atmora on the north pole of Nirn of my map.

So we either would be attacked by a Daedric Siege Crawler or the Second Numidium. Still not a hard choice.

Yes, from what I've gathered, the general Southeast direction from Tamriel is so far unexplored and empty, as far as we know. Unless Akavir is so massive that it takes up the entire Eastern Hemisphere.

Maybe there's a reason that neither the Et'ada nor the Daedra give a %#@! about Akavir.

Considering that there are Daedric Akaviri weapons, as well as two Daedric artifacts that are Akaviri weapons (Goldbrand and Ebony Blade), the Daedra do give a %#@! about Akavir.

So anything that looks like a katana is Akaviri now?

If the Daedra cared about Akavir, how come I haven't seen anything even hinting at it. There's little on Akavir as it is, and the nothing is written about the races of Akavir and their association with Daedra. Give me a link at least hinting at it.

Tamriel is but one continent. Although it is suggested that the Daedra have the most interest in it, it is doubtful that they ignore the other continents. In addition, in Morrowind, Dram Bero, if you tell him where Vassir-Didanat Mine is, and ask for a sword, he gives you a Daedric katana and tells you its rumored to be an Akaviri original.

That part about areas being empty, I'd always assumed that that was more of a tactic on the part of the Tsaesci. They pulled back and let the Legions wander in rather than putting up full resistance immediately.

But I definitely agree with you that Akavir must be much larger than Tamriel
