I've recently downloaded two different mods by two different, highly skilled modders, and I was peplexed by the included BSAs that contained one measly file. :shakehead: Am I missing something here, as I can't see any way a BSA containing one file can in any way be useful? IMO it's actally harmful for a player using lots of mods as it will count towards the 375-400 files limit in Data folder.
That certainly seems wrong on a number of levels. Perhaps you should let them know about this?
Good idea. Ironically for one of the mods the file (a large map texture) actually caused problems when inside a BSA.
Speaking of which, I'm having problems with some meshes/textures turning up invisble when making BSAs out of Elsweyr Anequina and the CNRP mods. Anyone have an idea why this happens? For Elseweyr it seems to include Goats (they have a prefix which I can't remember). I can see their horns, that is all. The funny thing is that in my previous game the goats from MMM were completely invisble...wondering if there is some pattern to it?
I've heard that that can sometimes happen if the texture lacks a mipmap. They'll work fine outside of a BSA but the same texture inside won't show up ingame if the mipmaps aren't there.

I don't suppose there is an easy way to check the textures if they lack a mipmap or not? Otherwise I guess I'll just have to find the missing ones as I play and then manually put the invisible files in the Data folder.

Sounds like textures are missing mip map has most textures need them when stored in bsa..
Elseweyr goats has own model and textures so MMM would not cause any effect on elseweyr version itself.
