Yeah, Skyrim and Fallout 4 would be my guess.

I sincerely hope it is, a Fallout game every two years would be idea. Gives us enough time to experience each one to the fullest before we get the next installment, but at the same time we won't have to wait like 3-4 years between games.

It's reasonably well known that, for several years, Todd Howard's team (and Bethesda itself as a company) were desperate to find other projects to tackle besides a constant stream of Elder Scrolls and racing games. It was during those conversations following the completion of TES IV that eventually led to Bethesda obtaining the Fallout IP from Interplay at a fire-sale price, and has given them something else to balance out their other franchises with.

It wouldn't surprise me one bit to learn that preliminary work (at the very least) has begun on the early scripting/development/brainstorming of a potential Fallout 4, using the brand-new Skyrim engine -- games like Brink notwithstanding, it'd be the next logical choice for Howard's crew to tackle once TES V is finally released. And I'm sure they'd love to work on another in-house Fallout game again, after having farmed out the latest one out to Obsidian.

It's either Fallout 4, Fallout: Mario Kart or they're working on a mega secret new series... Fingers crossed for Fallout: Mario Kart!

Right now, they could do virtually anything set in the Fallout universe, like Petz: Radscorpions or Activision's Agatha's Violin Hero, and my ass would totally be there.

the way i see it is i doubt they're gonna let more time pass between FO3 and FO4 than between oblivion and ESV, so 4 years between FO3 and FO4, no more than 5 years, i think its gonna be 2012 actually, a fallout game every two years, from bethesda and some other company most likely obsidian again, pete hines did say they bought the franchise to work on and develop it and that they are going to bring fallout to the forefront of RPGs in a major way, so thats not a statement of them taking forever between games.
