I was watching the Oblivion E3 demo and I saw a dog and the radiant AI being amazing(Please dont do that with the skyrim demo because that is just stupid to make it look that good and then lower the detail when it comes out)but that made me think the demo is probably representing Skyrim more then Oblivion, NOW aside from me straying off topic I was wondering if dogs would be in the game and if so will we be able to have them as a companion (i.e. Dogmeat, Rex)

EDIT: I personally want a pet dog to follow me around Skyrim as my companion more so then a living person but to have both would be nice too(Again like in Fallout New Vegas with the one Humanoid and one Animal or robot but in this instance it would be one Humanoid and one animal which does not include the mount)

I wouldn't mind a pet that stays in my house unless I take it for walks. Not too keen on adventuring with one though, they might get in the way of my sneaking.

If it isn't mentally disabled like Dogmeat/Rex when it comes to combat and sneaking then sure.

Yes, I would like pets that would stay in my house in the game. Options of animals would be cool too. Cats, dogs and other in game animals, maybe a tame slaughterfish.

It basically needs to just have a few packages that you can choose to designate it's actions. Stay, Come, Go Home, Attack, Heel (Don't Attack), etc.

If I could do it in Oblivion with a Frost Atronach they should be able to do it with a dog in Skyrim.
