I have an idea for this
if you fill your rad all the way you will ether die (90%), Turn Ghoul (9%), or Mutate (it can vary from being faster, stronger, having better sight, gaining night vision or being able to breath in water. 1%)
if you turn into a ghoul radiation wont affect you and you'll gain the trait claws of a ghoul. This lets you do more unarmed damage and lets you run oddly fast when not using any weapons.
if you mutate radiation only effects you a little but it can still kill you.
what do you think
I am currently playing Fallout 2 again, and every time a ghouls punches someone, I get the feeling tha any second now, his arm will fall off. They also always do 0 damage, if they hit at all. And watching their walking animation in combat takes forever, gosh they are slow!!!!!!!!!... which is kind of understandable, since they are rotting alive, which FO3 kinda changed with super powerfull ghouls who can run, wear power armor and rip out hearts with their fingers haha
Oh, them ghouls in Fallout 2, they have such personalities. They are all funny! Harold, of course, but like the other ghouls at Gecko, or that ghouls you run over with the Highwayman, or the ghoul that went to the Den and fell asleep. Haha.
