Maybe oneday they will just as long as there is no cure for it. Like a game where you start out as a ghoul.

If they ever make a Fallout Tactics two and go with the Tactics' http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u2ZcpcO7C58 I they can make a game with the Mutant Liberation Army.

I agree. It would be good if you could be turned into a ghoul or Super mutant. But I agree with Styles here, I would only like to see it if there was no cure.

No, radiation would have not affect. The reason they put it on the game was to make it challanging not easyer to heal your self

Ghoulification would bring new challenges. Your charisma goes through the floor, numerous NPCs would refuse to talk to you at all, and there may be negative adjustments to Agility and strength.

But to counter this it should raise your perception (I'm fairly certain they'd learn to keep an eye out for bigoted smoothskins.) and also to luck (got to be pretty lucky to survive the radiation in the first place).

Nah, that's only the the ones that don't try to kill you. The ones that shoot you still talk, call you names and stuff.

No, it would be countered by being healed by Radiation :/

I have an idea for this
if you fill your rad all the way you will ether die (90%), Turn Ghoul (9%), or Mutate (it can vary from being faster, stronger, having better sight, gaining night vision or being able to breath in water. 1%)

if you turn into a ghoul radiation wont affect you and you'll gain the trait claws of a ghoul. This lets you do more unarmed damage and lets you run oddly fast when not using any weapons.

if you mutate radiation only effects you a little but it can still kill you.

what do you think

I am currently playing Fallout 2 again, and every time a ghouls punches someone, I get the feeling tha any second now, his arm will fall off. They also always do 0 damage, if they hit at all. And watching their walking animation in combat takes forever, gosh they are slow!!!!!!!!!... which is kind of understandable, since they are rotting alive, which FO3 kinda changed with super powerfull ghouls who can run, wear power armor and rip out hearts with their fingers haha :P

Oh, them ghouls in Fallout 2, they have such personalities. They are all funny! Harold, of course, but like the other ghouls at Gecko, or that ghouls you run over with the Highwayman, or the ghoul that went to the Den and fell asleep. Haha.
