Basically, I wanted to start KOTN stuff but I didn't want to do it at a low level in fear of having good equipment at a low level

So my question is... If i get the KOTN equipment now at lvl 8, will the stats of the equipment level as I level?

KOTN items will update, repair and recharge themselves every time you place them back on the stand. This means that even if you get them at low level, they'll level up with you and you can keep using them all the way to end-game.

Most other items don't level with you, but if you're on the PC, there's a popular mod called Quest Award Leveller that levels up your quest items.
