I've recently made an interesting discovery on an old computer at my parents' place.
I found a program called 'Cracker' or something similar, that's supposed to remove the copy protection from old programs.
It has a list of about a hundred or more programs that it can remove the protection from, and Arena was on the list.
I figured I would try it out, to see what would happen. So, I ran it and loaded up Arena, and when I got to the shift gate, it let me through no problem at all. It didn't ask me for any spell costs, or anything.
I figured that this would make it alot easier for anyone playing Arena, especially when starting a new character. Now, since this program can 'crack' other games as well, I obviously can't distribute the program itself, but I do want to make it's effect available to everyone.
What do you guys think? Maybe I could contact Bethesda about it? Although, I doubt they would do anything with it
