Concerning KOTN,you might want to ask in the spoilers section.
Otherwise don't worry....play....travel around....you'll find it.

Most of the DLCs are relatively small. Houses and some minor relate quest.

Like Theives Den for thieves/pirates, Wizards Tower for Wizards, Fighters Stronghold for Fighters, Vile Lair for Vile assassins and vampires - you might have guessed those.

Horse Armor and Orrey are hardly worth installing.

IMPORTANT NOTE:
the Vile Lair has some very nice items at high levels. But they are leveled to when you install the plug in not when you go to the Lair. So if you install it with a level 1 character you're get a really poor version of some great items even if you don't do any Vile Lair stuff until much higher levels. So best to install the Vile Lair plug in at higher levels.

KotN is very fun. And you can do that with any level because the main rewards (armor and weapons) can level with your character which is not generally true.

Shivering Isles is a huge expansion with a main quest and many side quests. You might want to enter the isles at a lower level, because it can get difficult at higher levels. But once you pass through the gates into the main part of the Isles you might want to delay the quests to get better rewards.

Mehrunes Razor is a big huge dungeon crawl. The rewards are great at higher levels.

It makes very little difference whether you enter Mania or Dementia first, and you don't have to go back through the door to get from one to the other. If you just run around the Isles, you can freely cross from one to the other. You'll know which is which.
