How do you escape ashfield tower?

Post » Fri May 27, 2011 1:33 pm

I went in for a quest, I stupidly went through that moving wall, did a ton of things, and now that wall I went through wont open for me. I got a ton of loot(including a mithril katana) so i REALLY dont want to load an old save. Also, theres a gated path that leads to the exit to, but its closed also(and no switch to open it that im aware of).Can someone help me?

Save the game, reload it and press the 'last location' cheat (Alt F11), you'll be returned to the exit of the dungeon. :)

I would tell you how to get back manually, but I've never been in that dungeon before.

Also, as a precaution, learn the Recall spell. My fighting-geared character learned it very early with Levitate... two brilliant spells.

It's the first spell you have to learn! I can't imagine to search the exit of a dungeon after I found my quest-target. It would take as much time as searching the quest relevant item/person!

Bah, I use the cheat and roleplay that my character is blessed with the ability to return to entrances, especially since his magical abilities are about the same as mine in real life. ;)

Not all gates/movable obstacles are moved by switches and levers. Sometimes they are moved by clicking on other, odd things in the room, or nearby. Such as a torch on the wall, or a lectern, or a statue, etc.
