Hey all. I've been playing Elder Scrolls games since 2003, but I've only recently started using the PC. I've got both Morrowind and Daggerfall, but I'm looking at modifying Morrowind somewhat. Given that Skyrim is coming up I've started new characters in all, and they're fairly similar. My only gripe is that I can't cast magic and wield a sword at the same time in Morrowind. It was never a problem before, I just got used to it, but considering some of the impressive mods available I was wondering if there was one that could allow me to do this?

the morrowind codepatch beta allows "swift casting", see http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=26348. you also need the latest official release of http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=19510

note however that it will cause major clipping depending on weapon length and the size of your shield (if any). best used with an animation replacer, but there are very few (almalexia spell casting is an option, but has it's own flaws)
