Reading about "Fireteams" this quote came up.
- As mentioned above, there are 4 fireteams – with 8 players per team, this would imply that fireteams are only squads of 2. (2x4 = 8)

Anyone confirm or deny the 2 player max on Fireteams? If confirmed can multiple fireteams link up?

Basically, I have more than one other friend wanting o play brink as a conjoined team (our xbox party lets say) Can we all get in one fireteam? If not can our seperate fireteams be joined somehow?

2 players minium, 8 players max. Joining a fireteam automatically turns on voice chat between fireteammates. Merging fireteams is only possible if one fireteam disbands and joins another.

I've seen that somewhere, but forget where the source is. Rest assured it is from a dev and recent.

Think battlefield squads since you don't spawn on team members fire team is a nice way of saying be on my team you can have more then two people it can fit all 8 if you want it to.

I forgot about this feature. Hopefully it will contribute even more to the team effort.

On a related note, hopefully they'll have a mute feature clientside.

what i think it means is that there are four fireteams per team but you can fill them out any way you want. alpha and beta could have 4 players each and charlie and delta don't have anyone. since then it says you can stay with your "mate(s)" when you move to another map. it sounds a lot like the "party" system that xbox has but for all the platforms

Will that cut off the rest of the team from chatting?

Does anyone know the features of fireteam besides just voicechat. Do your fireteam members highlight a different color on the minimap, can you see their classes, can you see if they are dead or not, etc. You guys might not have information on this but if anyone does have any information on it, it would be very greatly appreciated

It says in the Brink Bible that when you're in a fireteam that people in your team are a different color so you can tell your teammates apart from the other people on your side. But I think the biggest thing about the fireteam is that when the game is over and the "losers walk" as it says in brink you won't be separated from the team you've made.

On standard settings, VoIP is disabled for everyone but the people in your friendlist.
