I have "heard" about the Black Sun issue, but I think this is the first time I have ever encountered it. I have Windows 7, so I think that is the cause. I know there was a big group of discussion years ago about a lot of people seeing the
sun in Morrowind as a giant black spot instead. Is there a fix for that?

Very very nice. That fixed it. I appreciate such a quick response. I wonder how they managed to do that. Not only did it fix it, but the suns got it's glare back and everything. Who created that mod/texture?

According to the person who posted the link that originally led me to the mod, it was made by a member of these forums named Aviloff.

Apparently it's just a texture that is put over the black sun to hide it, but you're right, he did manage to make the glare look good as well.

I believe that this issue crops up on newer ATI Radeon cards (or, rather, with newer Radeon drivers).
Just for my own curiosity then, is your graphics card a Radeon?

Yes. I have ATI Radeon HD 4870, on Windows 7, with an Alienware MX17 laptop. 6 gigs ram. Going to upgrade to 8 gigs soon.

Is 8 gigs really necessary for ANY computer!? :celebration:
