Very nice! I notice there is some blue pixelation throughout; were I you, I would run the dds back up in gimp, go to the Hue&Sat menu, and and lower the saturation all the way for blue and maybe aqua. I don't think you have any other blue/aqua derived pixels you'd want to keep so it should work for the most part, as it would fix the blue patches in the grey areas and at the very least wouldn't make the red areas looks more pixelated (you'd have to fix those by hand anyway. Very nice though; a wonderful first-effort!
