They aren't moving. This is how you make an animal dance. :bunny:

Indeed. A lot of people came here to find those kind of people to pair up with along with learning every juicy detail about Brink they can find.

The Bethesda Brink forums are actually the only forums I've ever been on not only because I've been anxious to get this game but because of the interesting topics and because of the great community

I got on these forums because I wanted to talk about Brink. When I got here, I found that people were nice so I stayed. ^_^

They're turtles, they're moving very, very slowly.

In all honesty, these are the best forums I've been on in a long time.

But, all things must come to an end sometime. And by that I mean the quality of the forums. How I see it...

Brink gets released + CoD fans coming to Brink = Forums become a bridge for the trolls to sit under

and why is fan-boy censored?

I think because Hungry Donner said that it could spark a flame war. Calling someone that is very demeaning.

Actually I read somewhere that depending on when or how you use it, it can be an insult. I could be extremely wrong though.

But, the most badass Otaku, is http://images4.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20090514213961/uncyclopedia/images/b/b8/Otacon_fail.png

Hmm. I think it's just me, but I don't believe getting called a fan-boy is demeaning. Heck, I'm a Brink fan-boy. A PS3 fan-boy. A NextGenTacitcs Fan-boy. And a TG fan-boy (Look in my sig and you'll know why xD)

Yes the Brink community Is quite mature. Even the younger audience. (ME :P) if someone steps out of line with the insults or the raging, the other members will tell them about themselves, and if not we have Moderators that actually care about keeping their forums appealing to everyone, and actually prevent people from :flamethrower: each other. I really doubt that it's our anticipation for Brink because you may not know it but it's slowly driving us INSANE!!!

P.S. Also what Gamemastr said actually makes sense. If you go on YouTube and see everyone flaming each other, you will flame, someone for flaming another guy because he made a mistake. In the Brink forums if someone makes a mistake, we correct them, or if they have different views on something we have "Civilized Debates" (lol so exaggerating) and discuss how we feel about something without going "No u iz rong, because u iz sux at teh game"

P.S.S. Nice to see another PS3 player. I will certainly be adding

Agreed. Its like we all accept each other as Brink fanatics, were mature and understanding and instead of flamng if someone asks a question we help and explain it to them. Very mature and KUDOS TO EVERYONE! :turtle: You guys and girls are awsome

Yeah, I don't get what's up with that....
I think the unfortunate and widespread misinterpretation of the term as a huge anime / manga / J-Pop fan is what they're basing it on.
But I know better than to call someone that. >>

Also the online play, while we will kill anyone any one of our enenmy, im save to say if we start playing public matches and run across new players most ppl here (80%) will try and help him out. The new person could potentially be a new friend to play with ya never know.

This is true. I find I'm actually one of the few people left on TF2 who will tell new players the answers to their questions instead of insulting them like almost everyone else.

But I find that the enemies I make in helping beginners aren't worth my time compared to the friends I make.

i browsed the Brink forum and the Halo forum in the same day once, long ago.
it was crazy
Brink is like, a tea party, a friendly get-together of kind fans (and the occasional lost idiot)

Halo forums are like a, rave-gang-bang-frat-party-troll-fest

i remember someone tried to make a game, similar to Blaven's refugee game on the halo forums
it was totally shot down in less than five posts
(I haven't read the journal in a while, ITS SO FREAKIN' LONG! practically a whole novel....)

i just hope this incredible community doesn't get clogged with uncivilized people the closer we get to release
i'm seeing more and more "lost idiots"

If u feel good about yourself,if u know who u are, then u shouldn't even care if someone calls u anything.
I really don't care if someone even calls me names.Why should i care?I know who i am,he will tell what i am?So i stay chill :)

I don't want to go off-topic again, sorry if i do and u find it boring...in start of thread u say that one of the reasons of these forums are so good/no flaming etc is that it is an teamplay oriented game.
I agree but i had a bad experience today because i was overteamplayer...i was accused for cheating...in the end i had 0 kills and 1 death because i decided to help my team and not myself.

Anyways,it is true, many times we get carried away by flamers and we should restrain ourselves since (as it seems) majority of us really want peace and harmony :)

Sorry if i tire u now but as an example is in Rift game the creation of an Old School server that now is the most populated by far.I think it is a good thing and i feel nice about it.

Also forgive me for errors in language as its not my native.
