Fallout general dmg (Questions)

Post » Tue May 17, 2011 1:13 pm

I looking for mod/tweak which can easy improve the whole dmg dealt of the game.
maybe you ask why? i could just switch and diff, and play on higer lvl, and i were say its okey but in the game, the ammonition is just so few, and y cant shoot too fart cuz the aiming part isnt an counterstrike or stuff like that, and ofcourse why should be it?! its an rpg! no problem! But when i have 17 shoots and i aiming my target, but the game "accidently" shot next to my target 5 times, mostly when i use pistols... and on hard level 1 shot isnt enoug there need 3-4 againts 1 dog, i just dont like.

So are there any mod or command how i could change the overall dmg in the game to x3-x4, which is compatible wiht any mod (because if you take a new mod to game maybe there are some new weapons).
Finially this were be an good diff. mod since if the dmg goin higer generaly you goingto get much more dmg to, not only your enemies!! (this is the besttt)!!!!!

thank you!

Um first off, you might want to work on your spelling and grammar. A lot. From what I could read, I'm sorry but I don't know a mod that has a switch for damage control. I know there's an old mod that changes the aim...And a bunch of realism mods that add damage to every hit.

And really man. Work on your grammar and spelling.

Mm, there is a global variable that can be changed with the console. Though, I think you have to set it every time you start the game, but I am not sure...

"fDamageWeaponMult", which is 1 by default. Changing it to 2 should double the global damage of weapons.

In the console, try this: SetGlobalfDamageWeaponMult 2

If that is wrong, hopefully someone can correct it - but that is the right variable. *nod nods* ^_^;

Good luck, and no need to apologise, moogoy was just being rude. *frown*

Change the fDamageWeaponMult in Settings in the GECK to about 3
That will bump up the damage to more reasonable levels.

<Damn, DarkMag, you just beat me to the punch!
But go with 3, lower than that is for girls.

Oh, and yeah its OK to apologize for sloppy grammar.
Mooguy was a bit direct, but was within his rights to criticize in this case.
Even if English isn't your native language, taking a moment to read over what you write before you post, just shows a bit of respect for the reader

Well excuse me, I'm just being truthful. If English is a foreign language to you, say so and everyone will understand. And it is true that you have to set it in the console every time, sadly. And you can't copy and paste.

I'm not going to point out in every post that I'm not from the states or the UK. Don't be an ass (yes I'm aware that this was pretty hypocritical coming from me).

Nah, you were being rude. And, ettiquette and manners are about avoiding being rude, not about making sure everybody follows the rules all the time.

Regardless of whether his tone can be considered as rude or not, I don't think he was unjustified in pointing out that the initial post was extremely carelessly written.
It's definitely not unreasonable to expect someone to take a moment to read over a post, especially when requesting other forum members to invest their time and effort to assist.

Sorry, I didn't mean it to come off punitive or anything. I just didn't want them to feel unwelcome after their first post or so. ^_^;
