Speculation on dragon interactions

"The shouts may have magical properties, like the ability to slow time or call a dragon to your aid"

Before I thought we would be fighting dragons, but calling them to your aid? I don't know what to say about that.

it's probably more like summoning than actually calling. and besides, it's not like you could call the 60+ dragons in Skyrim to aid you. you can only call one (unless there's a shout that's "summon dragon army".

It's one particular shout that summons a specific dragon. The article mentioned that the shout words are the name of the dragon. I'm sure it'll be one of the harder ones to find.

What about summoning/calling a dragon to fight another dragon?

I want to know what type of situation your in if you need to call a dragon to save your ass.
Maybe if one is attacking you, but what does that mean for the story? Some rogue dragon just feels like helping you kill that mudcrab?

Maybe you bind it's soul to yours, making it your eternal servant... or something.

Isn't soul binding magic?
