Is there a mod that makes Mercantile level up according to the value of items you buy/sell, rather than the number of items sold? This is another mod I've had no luck searching for.

Sorry, such a thing doesn't exist so far as I know. It would require MWE to change a skill leveling system, and no one has ever made such an MWE mod.
