Guys, has anybodu even played the older TES Games? All the lore from Arena says that Cyrodill should be a tropical jungle
Quite, we've(the old school gamers) complained about that too.
As to the fact that it is canon I am not disputing, as Go said, it's Bethesda's baby now. What they say, is canon, no matter how much they pervert established lore. I am looking forward to Fallout New Vagas, if only hesitantly, because Obsidian puts out buggy, unfinished games.
As to the topic, I'd like to see a fully featured terraforming/ground modifying mod.
And to get really ridiculous, I'd like to dynamically be able to dig my own caves. Build my own houses, raise my own walls, declare myself sovereign, and manage my own farm.
And further notching up the Batman villain scale of insanity, I'd like a decent sized world to do this in, something about the size of Daggerfall.
Now to completely break that scale, I want to be able to solve all situations with diplomacy, and there to be REAL consequence for killing hundreds of people.
Now to stomp upon it's remains, I want a limited, realistic population of wildlife and people. Around 200,000-500,000 NPCs, and 2,000,000 creatures large and small would be about right. Each NPC would track it's family members, and have stories of their own, maybe carry around a photo of their family, or a toy from their dad. EVERYBODY is killable, permanently, and you could over time kill everybody and everything in the wasteland, once again permanently.
Now to burn it to slag, I want every building openable with unique layouts in each.
Now to make it anew and burn it with a flamethrower again, I want unique item descriptions for every item, that evolve over time, and describe things like cracks, wears, kill counts, and stains.
But most of these will likely NEVER come about within this game. So I shall go back to learning to program.
