Crysis

Which is not a multi-platform release. It was designed solely for PC and ported to console later. Invalid example.

PS3 players get the same as Xbox 360... <_<

Do we, now? I still don't have most of Oblivion's DLC, Fallout 3's DLC was delayed for us by nearly an entire year, it was clearly rushed and unpolished when we finally did get it, and a large chunk of the fanbase doesn't even notice. I swear when people mention "consoles" they oftentimes are only referring to the 360. Bethesda didn't so much as acknowledge those problems with Fallout 3's DLC. Oh, and that vampire cure bug ticks me off. Console players in general have to deal with Oblivion's A-bomb bug.

PC games are pirated more than they’re sold, and for multi-platform titles they are consistently the lowest selling of the three versions. These folks are running a business, not a charity, and the sad reality is that the PC isn’t the center of attention anymore, outside of a few specific genres (or even publishers/developers). Bethesda has to make money to continue making games, and PC games (especially single-player ones) represent the most work for the least reward. PC versions will be last on their list of priorities until there’s a legitimate business reason for it to be otherwise.

Want to change that? Vote with your wallets.

Not much games give better quality on different consoles.

Unless you count Anti-Aliasing and Texture Packs and Antroscopic (sp) Filters.

If you can find me one game where the quality differs ALOT from Consoles, My argument is invalid.

I'm surprised no one ever mentions Adaptive Anti-aliasing. It makes trees, plants, hair and fences look insanely good and realistic and no one ever mentions it :sadvaultboy:

Maybe it's because AAA is such a memory hog and only the best computers can handle it in games. Iono.

You mean the game that’s not on consoles? Try again.

There's a reason it wasn't on consoles.

Sigh.

Here we go again...:bolt:

Nah, it's turning out to be just another thread with console players and pc players at each others throats. Let's give it a rest. Folks always without fail end up bickering and flaming in these threads and it's already started. Enough already.
