Just got the game again!

So I just got Oblivion today, With all the official DLC packs including Shivering Isles and Knights of the Nine (Or what ever it's called..) Anyways I desided I want to make a stealthy character, a assassin type joining the dark brotherhood. But.. I cant deside how to make my character, What race to chose or what class/skills for custom class to pick..

So I desided to come on here and ask for sugestions! What do you think would make a fun race and class for a dark brotherhood and maybe thief's guild member?

For a stealth race, I think you can't beat a Kahjiit. Bosmer are good too, especially for a stealth/archer, but the males can look ridiculous. For a kahjiit, I like to use Blades and Hand to Hand, just feels in character, and personal taste, but I find Mysticism invaluable for detect life and telekinesis.

I was leaning towards a Argonian actually.. Though what class, Or what skills for custom class, should I pick? I'm thinking a custom class with Stealth specialization, Speed and Agility and for skills maybe Marksman, Blade, Mysticism, Illusion, Light armor.. What else..? Alteration maybe? Dont want sneak, lockpicking, Athletics or Acrobatics cus they level so easily..

It'd be kinda stupid to pick a default class, I think. I think what you listed seems very nice.

Specialization: Stealth
Birthsign: The Thief
Attributes: Agility, Speed
Skills:
Blade
Illusion
Light Armor
Marksman
Mysticism
?
?

My two cents.

Thanks for all the replies. Thinking I might chose Armorer and maybe take Sneak afterall as the last two skills and see how it works out ^^

^ Haha :P

As for my stealth build, it usually looks something like this:

Sign: The Shadow
Specialization: Stealth
Attributes: Agility, Speed

Majors: Blade, Light Armor, Marksman, Sneak, Illusion, Conjuration, Mysticism

I actually just got back into Oblivion as an Assassin type of character.

I went with:

Race - Breton

Birthsign - Thief

Specialization - Stealth (Preferred; Agility & Speed)

Major Skills -

Blade
Marksman
Light Armor
Acrobatics
Sneak
Illusion
Alteration

Working great so far. A Breton seems like an odd choice, but I like Bretons physically, and their racial benefits are by far the most useful in my opinion.
