Pets in TES V?

The only ones I can imagine would be some kind of atronach or lesser daedra for mages and a dog for everyone.

Everything else would be a bit silly

Well magic in Oblivion did seem a bit hollow, lacking in a range of spells or spell effects. Midas Magic did wonders to improve this but still there was no real classes or defined schools of magic. Necromancers did however raise alot of undead as I would expect but still they all throw the same fire balls.

It be cool to have pets in your house.
I'm not a fan of a furry thing following me around, so i wouldn't use it.
But, i'm all for having pets.
Cos i know other people would use them.

It is called "conjugation". I think they should extend the times they have for it though, for it really pisses me off when my best goes away in 30 seconds. However, not everyone is a mage and you can have assassins follow you (assuming you finished the Dark Brotherhood) and the same with mages for the mage's guild. I will go with for some classes.

I actually was thinking about it, and i realized that it could be a new skill. Te higher you petskill is, the more pets you can have at once, and the more they will listen to you. a Journeyman+ would also be able to give their pet's special armour and weapons.
Conjuration is for a short time because it summons a very powerfull being, rather than a less powerfull being for an indefinate ammount of time.

Edit: Grammar

Voted no. Doesn't add anything to the game other than LARPing possibilities and I personally am not interested in that. Also, since there never were any pets/domestic animals in the previous ES games, the addition would be off I think, unless the ES Lore can explain it.

But as far as gameplay mechanics go, I'll vote no. Not really a role playing aspect like I said.

You may not be, but many people do LARP in a role playing game (funny that, eh?) and pets could also have advantages.
