I need a good Oblivion Mod cleaning tool

Post » Tue May 17, 2011 9:20 am

Does anyone know of any good ones I could use? I am having trouble w/ Gecko.
It's impossible for me to know how to "pick & choose" manually, lest I should
pick the wrong cell to clean. W/ Morrowind, I had one that just cleaned the
mods automatically, I forget what it was called. It has been so long.

http://sites.google.com/site/oblivionpoinfo/tunesetup/cleaning <-- The utility you need is TES4Edit, and you will find a link on that page.

I think I have TESIV edit, I used it for something else, to identify stuff, I will see how to use it other ways, thanks.

Yup. That page is just a quick reference, see the "Related Resources" links to the relevant TESCSWiki pages if you want a more comprehensive look into what you can do with that utility. The manual for the utility is linked at there as well.
