According to Oblivion rumors, there was a massive prison break in Argonia. this would work with TES theme of the player being a convict. Also, with the fall of the empire, Skooma trave has taken a massive root there. possible quests dealng wih allthe smugglers. The new Novel starts off in there, and adds much Lore to the capital that, without, would have been impossible to make a game from. Another thing that i'll bring up is that, after the realease of morrowind, some Beth Dev. claimed tat the Eye of Argonia would turn up as an arifact.

I'm not picking on the OP in particular, but I am soo tired of people citing "Oblivion rumors" as OMGPROOF! that the next game is going to take place in their preferred province. There were rumors in Oblivion about every [censored] province!

Isn't the next game supposed to be set like 200 years after Oblivion?

I think those prisoners would be pretty damn old by then.

I think if its like the other TES games like 5-10 years...

If the Amazon spoiler is correct, then TES5 will be a significant jump in the timeline. (the first four games all were within a 40 year period)
