While we're at it lets scrap Skyrim and just make a rendition of Daggerful for current gen consoles and the PC

You know, I think the reason that Morrowind is such a sacred cow for so many of, is just because it’s the one that so many of us we played first.

Morrowind blew my mind, but when I played Oblivion, I new what to expect and I expected to have my mind blown.

I don't know. When I first started playing Oblivion I was awestruck. It was how tiresome it was in the long run that got to me.

I don't think it should be LIKE Morrowind, I just hope that they do as good as a job with Skyrim as they did with Morrowind. NOTHING MORE

Exactly. Far too many people want Skyrim to be "Morrowind 2". I want Skyrim to be like Skyrim, not Morrowind, Oblivion or Fallout.

It's certainly tricky. However it's no secret that Morrowind did do some things better than the rest of the series (for a lot of people at least). Those things are Fast Travel Services, and World Scaling. I see no reason to not take those two things onwards as they were so amazing. I want Skyrim to be it's own game, I'm liking the new Player Levelling ideas (although at first I was sceptical), and the combat is looking extremely nice. You can improve on ideas while keeping concepts from past games that were well recieved.
