Fallout Fwe help

Post » Mon May 16, 2011 11:22 pm

Every time I go to run the script extender i get "couldnt inject .dll"

I have no idea what I am doing wrong, I have archieve invalidation and Fose installed FWE is the only mod i have.

I have the official patches instead of the unofficial one, is that a problem?

You need the official patches. I did a quick look around - are you using Vista? If so try to run as administrator.

Alright thanks I think it might be working but before i get too far how should FWE start? I was under the impression that it had an alternate start, but when i begin it is the default birth scene with Liam Neeson

Don't worry. After the birth scene ends, you get the option to either choose an alternate start (wake up), or start normally (keep dreaming). ^_^

If you have more problems with Vista, just create a game folder in documents and reinstall the game in that one. I do that with every game and have none of the problems that a lot of Vista users run into.

Yep. Anywhere other than protected folders (like Program Files\..., Program Files (x86)\..., or Windows\... for example). This is almost required, when using Vista or Windows 7, and installing Oblivion or Fallout 3. In fact, it's time that info returns to my sig... :)
