RP'ing a faction.

(Pretty sure this is where I post this) I have had this idea for a while, basicly it is a pro-Imperial/Empire faction. The faction would be somewhat of a mercenary group but not completly. We would be based near the Cyrodiil/Morrowind/Black Marsh border. Our goal would be to protect Empire assets in the region from Dunmer and Argonian guerilla fighters. I also have a few ideas, a full ranking system, after each mission is complete the guild would recieve gold depending on the job and we would use that for better arms and armor among other things, eventually expand to the Skyrim border and maybe a seafaring branch based in Anvil/Leyawiin. All races are welcome to join, all I ask is that you have the Empire's best interest at heart. People can go ahead and start signing up but for now I'm mostly looking for a second-in-command so if you want to be my second send me a pm, with your character info and any other information you think I should know. Thanks for your time and I hope to fight along side you.

I tried to send you a message about what sort of skill level you expect from a beginner rank. (Whether this is an elite unit like the blades, or just the legion forces.) But you've either disabled people sending you PM's or you're part of a group that doesn't allow such things to go through. If you want to run an RP, i'd recommend allowing people to send them. :P

But my question can still be answered here: What sort of character sheet would you be using and what sort of skill level would you accept for a beginner rank?

The character sheet can be the usual one

Name-
Age-
Race-
six-
Appearance(facial structure, eye color, etc)-
Background(try to make it as in-depth as possible but not a must)-

As for the skill level you can have some combat training already which you will advance faster. So you can be ex-Fighters Guild, Imperial Legion dropout, or anything other with combat experience. I have changed my mind about characters with no experience, for now I will not accept character's with no combat experience. After all we will be fighting enemies that hide in the bushes we cannot have a new recruit go out and fight those, at least at first depending on how many people joins this might change.

About the pm, no idea why it wouldn't let you send it. It says in my settings that I'm allowed to receive them, I'll try to figure it out.

(Sorry for the double post) I posted saying that I cannot receive pm's but now it seems I can so any application for my second should be sent there. I only need a second-in-command right now, to help me think of things for this. So if you want send them my way.

I did not watch my buddies die face down in the mud so that some skallywag could RP a grand battle on the internet!

And you might want to post a tad more about the RP, about how you plan to make the ranks more and so forth. Make it look more interesting for potential RPers.

If you still need help, I'll offer a hand. Regardless, what I suggest is that you have different branches. From what it sounds like, everyone in the group is supposed to be a fighter. Instead, I recommend that you have a fighters branch, mages branch, and a stealth branch. The effort would be cooperative. For example, the stealth branch could do recon, and then the fighters and mages branch would do the cleaning up. If everyone is a fighter, then it will get boring quickly since all the characters will be so similar.
