Questions About The Construction Set

Post » Fri May 27, 2011 6:24 am

Seeing as I downloaded Morrowind GoTY from Steam, I naturally hopped on here to find a topic of a download of the CS.
However, when I downloaded it, I've become completely confused.
I'm not sure if it is supposed to be included, but I'm quite sure it is: ALL of the Morrowind content.
BUT, the download doesn't have that I'm aware of.
All it has a few starter iitems, about 10, such a Gold and some Soul Gems. That's it...
It also doesn't have any landscape, like Ebonheart or Vos, just Wilderness 8.1, 9.5, etc. And those Wilderness is all empty.

If this is happening to you, good. I'm not alone. :foodndrink:

But anyway, does anyone know a solution?

Thanks! :embarrass:

Lolz. You need to load a data file. click file, data files, and then double click morrowind, tribunal, and bloodmoon. press ok, wait for it to load, and you are set to go! Btw, click ok to all the message boxes. Also, if you are a first timer, use the included tutorials in the help file. They help alot. Good luck, and happy modding!

That makes sense, but when I click Data files under Morrowind it comes up with Bookart, icons, meshes and textures, not Morrowind, Tribunal and Bloodmoon.
Haha I'm so clueless :(

EDIT: OR are you meaning when you are in the CS and click file Data Files? Because that simply appears blank.

I believe this was discussed http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1082105-downloaded-cs-not-working/.

It's the Data Files menu in the CS that you need to use. If you can sort out the problem of the missing data files, you can just double-click on them in this menu to load them.
