TES Pen & Paper Role-playing Game
Community Project

The Elder Scrolls is a video game series inspired by Pen & Paper roleplaying games (PnP RPGs), such as Dungeons & Dragons. The aim of this project is to take the rules we are presented with in the existing games, and convert them into an enjoyable tabletop system.

This is not a simple adaptation for an existing tabletop system, but an attempt at creating a true TES PnP RPG.

The final aim is to compile a complete book of rules to a professional (or near-professional) standard.

Well that's the opening brief. I did make a nice little PDF presentation poster, but got impatient and figured I can just throw all the information in the OP. And though I'm not quite sure this is the place I should be posting this topic, it seems the most appropriate.
What I hope to do, is rally enough members of the community to create (at least) a small team, so that we may work on a true and complete TES PnP RPG.

The final product will be in the form of a free (this is a fan effort, for the community, not a business) PDF book, covering the rules, Game Mastering, a bestiary, and lore.

-And with a clear first things first, any interest?

-Second, deciding the core mechanic. I'd like to suggest the percentile dice rolling method.
For those who don't know what that is: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dice_notation#Percentile_dice_.28d.25.29
Though being a community project, everything is up for discussion.

Already working on two of them actually, check my signature for a link to the thread for the discussion. Would love to have your input on the ideas presented (though I apologize as the thread is a little unorganized at this time - meaning the OP does not contain all the details unfortunately, they are spread through the thread), as would the other team as well.

I'm presently heading up one of the projects, with a planned 15 PDF Book release setup with the system presented (Core Book plus 14 currently planned supplements). Sadly, each project only really consists of one individual for the most part, though at this point my own will be crediting two members of the Community so far as Developers due to the amount of input they have provided in the discussion.

Ah, well I will defiantly take a look. A 15 book series sounds quite ambitious, I'll see if I can make an input.

I may continue with what I have in mind as a separate production, depending on how different the system your working on may be. But there's no reason I can't see if I can help yours along.
