Question about static mannequins

Post » Tue May 17, 2011 2:21 pm

I want to create static mannequins that have a fixed pose, but I'm not sure how. All of the current mannequin mods out there have lots of scripting and fanciness to 'em, and whenever I try stripping stuff out it breaks them. Basically in concept I want to create a mannequin race with three NPC's (one for each pose I want). Each NPC is in a fixed pose and I can drop 'em where I want in the CS. Then in-game I just open them like a container and dump the armor in. Obviously then I want them to wear the armor/weapon like a normal mannequin.

Reznod's in particular has a lot of extra stuff in it due to the mannequins being a purchasable item and having the advanced dialog/pose options. Are there any tutorials out there that illustrate how to pare these down to a simple static mannequin? Or on creating your own from scratch?

*Bump* I had some limited success modifying Reznod's mannequins, but every time I try to simplify the script (mainly to remove all of the various pose options), it goes ka-blooey. If anyone can help I'd really appreciate it. I just want a simple static mannequin that stands at a single "alert" pose (weapon drawn, shield on arm if present) and equips whatever I put on it.
