Here's what Skyrim needs....

Post » Tue May 17, 2011 1:10 pm

I'm sure all the best suggestions have been mentioned already. So I suppose no one has yet mentioned this. :P

Here's the thing: considering the (awesome!!) nordic and barbarian setting of Skyrim, and assuming that the presence of companions is a given after the progresses made with Fallout 3 and with Obsidian's New Vegas.....

....who wouldn't want a potential companion that's a http://cdn.screenrant.com/wp-content/uploads/conan-remake-arnold-schwarzenegger.jpg??

Fallout 3 allowed me to get a '60s Fonzie-like bully as my team member. New Vegas allowed me to be a (female) Elvis impersonator and to be shot in the face by a snazzy gambler/mafia guy. Now, it just seems like a necessity that Skyrim will allow me to team up with a Conan lookalike. Am I the only one with such a silly wish, or do others feel the same?

I see...

So this is like, one of the most suggested things ever, and the most obvious and easy to happen.

Yeah, Todd loves Conan, Skyrim is a nordic province, and has that brutal Conan feeling, you know what would be a good idea? Not having anything Conan at all.

On a side note, this will be locked, there are no doubts other companions threads that you could discuss this, making a new one is just useless.

Wow.... why so crabby? :(

I'm sorry; I didn't see any thread discussing this in the forums, otherwise I certainly wouldn't have opened this topic. Perhaps I didn't look carefully, as I didn't browse through all the pages of suggestions. I must have missed the thread in which this idea was discussed.

Glad to know that Conan is appreciated. And, if everyone really is expecting a Conan lookalike as a companion, then why not give the fans what they want? If you don't like it, just don't get that guy as your companion when you play the game. :)

While it could be fun it would also be a huge cliche(did I write that right?) just like a mage altmer follower would be. I hope that if they include followers they are more original.

If it's not in, I'm sure it'll be a day one mod on the PC.

If you're getting one of the console versions, I'm sorry in that case.

Id switch it up a little.

How about an angry Conan wanna-be wood elf?
