In a Fallout Universe wasteland? with the chance to leave before I died or got seriously hurt? Sure, i'd do it for a few days, just for kicks. Join the Enclave and torch some muties. B)

In a real-world post apocaylptic wasteland? Say...after a real-life full scale Nuclear attack on the United States? No. Hell No. And I think anyone who would want to go live in a real situation like that needs a serious reality check. Or a slap in the face. :slap:

Could I survive? As a Human? Well if I don't get blasted and die of cancer or a mutation by radiation...I'd say...

- I know how to shoot a pistol with somewhat good accuracy and a hunting rifle with pretty good accuracy.
- I know many hunting tricks in text book knowledge and actually have set traps before.
- Decent survival knowledge, I can gather water, find food, etc.
- Good with words...so I WON'T get shot by the bartender for not paying my bill.
- I have a stockpile of Coke at my house so I'll be fine for a couple weeks in terms of money.

- Don't care when killing animals, whether it be hunting or dissecting.
- Somewhat fast runner.
- Fast reflexes.

As for weaknesses
- I believe all humans are equal so I can't imagine myself killing humans.
- I'm a bit of a picky eater.
- Unless there's nothing around, the day I eat raw meat is the day I die.
- Not very strong...as in I can't hold a MIRV.
- Cannibalism = Bad
- I doubt I'll be as good as a shot I am at the range if I'm under fire.
- Slow firing speed. I always get the target but it takes time for me to fire.

And there you go. You decide if I can survive or not.

Sometimes I just think "[censored] this world with everything that is so complicated, paying bills, loans, mortages on the house, long education to become anything, paperwork for everything, numbers, numbers everywhere!" and all that. Sometimes you think if it was just a world where everything was simple, and there was justice and people were kind... or in a post-apoc world, you live at a nice farm with your family and raiders don't bother you, and sometimes you go to the hub to trade your brahmin. Or, as my location suggests, a socialist utopia. Don't hate on me, because no one has ever seen this, it's always been an dystopia because people succumb to greed or were selfish and evil all along. But imagine a society actually following the idea of marxism, where everyone are equals and everyone help each other, with no racism, discrimination or prejudice, and no one just drifts along on others expanse. Everyone are happy and contribute to the society, because the society gives back to you.

Too political? You disagree? Then forget that part of the post.

The fact that some of you say 'yes, i would like to live in a wasteland', is disturbing. You realize it would be nothing like Fallout. There will be no mutated animals, only deranged human beings, your neighbors trying to kill you for a scrap of moldy food. You also will likely not have a whole armory of weapons at your expense. You will be cold, hungry, thirsty, the sun for the first decade or so will be blocked out. People will murder, steal and [censored]. Children will be killed for food. If none of that kills you, then the radiation will.

Good, I'll be first on the [censored] and pillaging bandwagon. [censored] humanity.

Maybe not nuclear... but large scale anarchy? Hell yes.
