Resurrect 1 causes npcs to stop moving

When using .Resurrect 1 on dead npcs, they sometimes no longer move when getting up. Instead they just stand there facing the player. Is there any way to fix this issue? Thanks!

Yeah, that sometimes happens. Try calling http://cs.elderscrolls.com/constwiki/index.php/EvaluatePackage on them right after they resurrect and see if that helps.

EVP doesn't fix it either. They just stand there as if they can no longer walk.

What kind of NPC are you trying to resurrect? NPCs that were meant to be dead ('Dead Adventurer' or similar NPCs lying around dead in dungeons) can't be resurrected properly. They are set up in the CS to have 0 health and they also have no AI packages.

Just normal npcs I killed first, like a Guard Dog, Outlaw Bowman, etc. Minotaurs however were spawning alright all the time. It seems completely random though.

Edit: Both GetCurrentAIProcedure and GetCurrentAIPackage return the combat value after being resurrected. No matter if the npc can walk or not.
