I live on the good old west coast of the USA. Pretty much the ideal place to live should a nuclear strike occur. Nothing really important over here <_<.

I live directly above the center of the Earth.

(My Dad's ancestors were from Sweden via Finland ((I have a touch of Laplander blood)); his great-great-great-great grandfather and his two brothers jumped ship in New York harbor to avoid Ellis Island and made their way to Delaware. My Mother's side were Scottish Methodists. Henceforth, I have an odd attraction to cold weather, barren hills, evergreens and reindeer.)

Whats Sista April? Sounds Spanish with the Sista part.

"Last April". Never really heard of that, think it's more commonly known in Sweden as Valborgsm?ssoafton, or in english - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Walpurgis_Night#Sweden.

Terribly sorry old chum but If you are to divide the members of the United Kingdom into it's constituent countries you HAVE to include all of them, or just have a "UK" category, as an Anglo-Scot I certainly wouldn't be offended.

Or was it Sista Maj?
Anyway, the last day on March, April or May (I'm really fuzzy on the details since I don't care much for that "holiday".) we in Borl?nge gather around big fires and drink gl?gg and watch fireworks, and of course get drunk and stumble around like the village idiot. :P
Overall it's a nice day, get to play with fireworks and risk hardcoe amputation.

That's pretty much July 4th in the USA. And New Year's Eve. We love our booze and explosives, but doesn't everyone?

Next best pet, best is guinea pigs, while it smells like a farm in my room they at least don't use my arms to claw on...
Okay they do, but their claws are less sharp, and they don't bite.

Who doesn't like a holiday where you get drunk and stumble around in the US we call it Saint Patrick's day. In Chicago we dye the river green.

I hate to be a spoilsport but we have an http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1105300-community-poll/ for this topic. I realize it's forum-wide but community discussion is the place to be discussing this, not the Fallout Series forum.

The community discussion forum exists specifically to handle these sorts of topics. If someone wants to start a thread in CD about regional holidays, or interesting facts about the places people live, I'll be happy to link to it here - just send me a PM with the link.
