Hello, brave forumers. I have come to you in hope that you could help me with my quest for knowledge.

I hope that some of you have heard of the game called Thief II The Metal Age. I want to buy this game, but there is one catch: I want an original release copy.

From what I understand the original release consisted of three game disks and one manual inside a http://media.moddb.com/images/games/1/1/227/thief2boxfront.jpg.

I have also come across http://img2.mlstatic.com/jm/img?s=MLB&f=160333130_873.jpg&v=O that I suspect is a re-release of the game.

You may wonder how you can help? I will tell you now.
I need to know if the traqezoidal box is the original release, and excactly what it contains. If you have a first release copy of the game, I will greatly appreciate it if you could provide me with a picture of the box + contents.
If you know about any place that sells the game and ships internationally or to Europe, please let me know.

While I don't have the original release and can't really help you with your quest, I can say that if you're putting off playing the game until you stumble across an original release with all discs and documents that isn't falling apart then give it up - Thief 2 is a fantastic game and you're doing yourself a disservice by putting off playing it for the sake of the box it comes in.

All I know is I got my copy from Amazon. Where it ships to and what it comes in is going to vary.
