Another Repeat Question, I'm Sure

Post » Tue May 17, 2011 9:10 am

So sorry to again ask a question I'd bet has been asked a thousand times, but my search skills must really really svck because I can't find it.

So, here goes. If this asking questions for which there are readily available answers (somewhere) violates forum rules, then please delete this and I'll not post further. I've seen how asking old questions gets under folks skins sometimes and that is not my intention.

Anyway, here's my question:

Is there a list somewhere (I searched all of the Bethesda directories on my computer) of the Game Hints that appear in the lower left corner of the screen when you load or fast travel somewhere?? My computer is so fast, I can never read past the first few words, as that screen only lasts about 1-2 seconds. I'd like to read those hints if they're availalbe in a text file somewhere, but I couldn't find it in my initial search of my game directory.

Thanks for any responses, and again sorry for asking what's probably been asked a thousand times.

I don't remember anyone asking this. As far I know, no one's made a list of all the tips, because they are so basic it's pretty much explained in most faqs.

I'm sorry you're missing them, but chances are you're already aware of them. They really are the most basic of tips. Things you're missing include...

"recievived Herpes"
"Gob spat in your beer"
"Note Added: You're NOT the Father!"

...okay, I'm joking. I know it's frustrating to miss a message, but you're not really missing much at all.

You said you have a computer, so download the GECK and start it up. Go to Object Window -> Game Effects -> Load Screen. You will see the entries for all the load screens, with the messages they display.
