You just reminded me of the elephant chase level in Tarzan on the PS1. That was awesome.

Man, having a small army cavalry of horses rushing towards a pack of mammoths would be awesome.

I think it would be cool if the more you attacked them, the more they will attack you. So they start off non-hostile, but if you start hunting for them everytime you see them, they start to attack you on site. I, personally, think it would be cool.
