Well its time to reinstall MW. I was thinking about just downloading it from steam but before I do I wanted to make sure that there were no issues with the steam version and any MW 3rd party utilities like TESTool and MGE etc. Or any mods for that matter.

Very few problems. I have a 50+ mod steam install with MCP and MGE. You will need to redate the BSAs, however.

You just won't get the Construction Set if you buy the game on Steam.

By that do you mean the CS is ususable with the steam version?

No, it works fine, just not included. It sounds like you have a disk version so just move your CS folder to your steam directory. Also, I think there is a downloadable copy on TesNexus.
