Mace or Sword?

Bow and dagger for me, might use a backup axe or sword for when I end up in the unfortunate situation of a fair fight in melee range.
I'm interested in the axe's bleeding perk(s), wondering if it'll bleed for extra damage on sneak attacks.

Dual-Wielding is not in my plans, even if I could wield a mace and a blade at the same time. I feel dual-wielding is just so cheesy. Hell, cowboys never actually dual-wielded pistols akimbo. It's unwieldly in real life and I don't want to exploit a game's shoddy inclusion of it.

if its a passive skill or a skill that only has a few seconds cool down it will be very easy for me to pass that up. i wish they would change it to ignore half of the enemies armor or something cause i dont know how that cant be game balancing. the one thing they could do is have npcs with super high health but that was the problem in oblivion.

I'm sure it's a high-level perk.

You cannot dual wield two different classes of weaponry; in fact you might not even be able to wield different types. I'm not sure, but I believe the GI articles stated that you can only dual wield the same types of bladed weapons, so if you have one steel longsword than you can dual wield another steel longsword, or two glass daggers, etc.

I could be wrong, but I definitely know that you can't dual wield a sword and a mace.

Actually no. It doesn't say you are restricted like that in anyway. It actually says the opposite. They even have a screenshot of a guy duel wielding a one handed staff and a sword.

Here is this little excerpt for you "[...}Duel wield with two of the same weapon, or place a dagger in one hand and a mace in the other." page 50.

There you go. OP, you could use both if you want to go all offense.

For Humans in Armor: Use a mace
For 'naked' monsters: Use an Axe/Sword

In my opinion, by adding greater differences to the weapons they've really allowed for more variety and even more incentive to use both skills.
