As many of you know - Steam is also a great way of gaining/buying/collecting your games into a "Database" - Alot of people will use steam, Such as myself....

My query is - And ive searched everywhere and came up empty...

But does anyone know when "Steam" will actually make theres for release?

Will they standard it too EU date, 20th - Or will they make it to the 1st also.

Brink will not release on May 1st anywhere. Australia would rather get it on June 1st than May.

Also there is no clue about when BRINK will be unlocked on Steam. Personally, I hope everyone can pre-load it on May 15th and play at May 17th already, without teh stoopid pseudo shipping stuff.

I dont understand the concept that "AUS would rather get it on June 1st" - Why? Thats a month later....Why would anyone getting something early - Rather get it later? Youve lost me.

And its stated on just about every site + release pages, That AUS WILL get it on the 1st of May - Hence the reason for the mass price Rise from $49 to $89....

I've never seen a game release in AUS over half a month before everywhere else in the world. So I doubt that information is correct.
Also I haven't read any Splash Damage or Bethesda statement about the AUS release date thus far.

And as games tend to release in AUS after they released everywhere else in the world, I'd assume it releases on June 1st rather than May 1st. Which IS NOT a month later, but no more than two weeks.

The 1st of May to the 1st of june - IS one month...

I have no idea how you could possibly think its "No more than two week"....

Its the 1st to the 1st of a month = 1 month, 4weeks to a month.. So how is that NOT one month but more than 2 weeks.


Anyways - I thought it was rather silly that AUS would get the game so early before everyone else also.

As I'm still not buying into May 1st as a confirmed release date for AUS.

I'm pretty sure Australia is getting it May 20th. If they're not they'll be getting it later, not earlier but I haven't seen anything to suggest that their release date is another other than the EU/international release date.

As for Steam, Steam generally unlocks games the day they're released so North American residents will get it unlocked on the 17th and everyone else will get it unlocked on the 20th.
