Tribunal or Bloodmoon

Post » Fri May 27, 2011 3:28 am

Greetings folks,

I've recently finished the main quest in Morrowind with my mage character who is now lvl 26.
While i was doing the main quest it felt abit too easy with my character perhaps it was because
i waited too long with it when i did alot of the mages guild first to get abit stronger.

Now i was curious what i next move should be when i leave morrowind behind.
Should i go Tribunal for a challenge or skip it now and go straight to Bloodmoon?
I've never really finished both expansions but i don't mind skipping Tribunal and going it
later with another character.

With friendly greetz,

Tribunal has some tough fights in it...but bloodmoon is hardder overall....up to you.

From a roleplaying perspective I would suggest Tribunal first. Tribunal continues Morrowind's storyline and brings it to a kind of conclusion. Bloodmoon is basically a separate game entirely, located in the same world.

Do you prefer questing in a city and it's sewers or exploring wilderness and ice caves?
That's another way of deciding which one you wanna try.

The first time I was faced with this choice I saved the game at the end of the MW mainquest. Then I played Tribunal.
Afterwards I returned to the game save and then played Bloodmoon instead.

I always get the feeling while playing through all three they wanted you to play Tribunal first. Probably because Tribunal was like the epilogue of the main quest and when reading a book you should probably read the epilogue of the first book before the sequel.

I liked Tribunal much more. Bloodmoon is a little glitchy, and I found it to be challenging in an uninteresting way.

I would do Tribunal first.....and if you have both, Tribunal should be installed before Bloodmoon. At least I always do it that way.

If you liked the story of Morrowind's main quest, you should go do Tribunal. If you want something entirely different from Morrowind's main quest, go do Bloodmoon.
