Ok folks.

I stumbled upon a problem I can't really seem to solve on my own.


I accounted for a job that brought me to the city of Daggerfall. I have to kill a traitor, but nowhere does it say where I can find him/her.


That's what the description reads:

Loredas the 14th of Rain's Hand:

The Dark Brotherhood has sent me to find and slay a traitor to the guild. The rogue assassin is hiding out in Daggerfall.
I have 17 days to accomplish this.


Any idea where this traitor could hide? I already sought the help of the Dark Brotherhood in Daggerfall, but they know nothing and I can't ask the Spymaster, as my rank is still too low.

At low levels, DB quests are all dungeon crawls. You should have been told, and had recorded, the name of that dungeon.

I'm already out of that low level region.

Most of my DB quests were in cities (more precisely, the palace of a city)

The "kill the traitor" quest is a dungeon crawl. Strangely enough, "Daggerfall" may actually refer to the dungeon inside Daggerfall's palace (as the palace itself is simply called "Daggerfall")

There's a dungeon inside Castle Daggerfall?

Can this even happen? Can you get a random quest involving Castle Daggerfall (or for that matter, Wayrest or Sentinel)? I've never heard of it.

Nor have I, though reading what he has in his log it makes sense to me... I'd be really interested to see if it is indeed the case. (I would recommend using the [ and ] cheats just in case it isn't the case and you are in the completely wrong area...)

That dungeon was huge.

But yea, he was in there. On the lowest floor, to be exact.

That's crazy. I have to say, I don't believe I've ever seen a random quest send you to one of the palace dungeons. Pretty cool actually.
