I'm quite sure you can change the installation path for Morrowind, but since I don't know what OS you're running so I assume that you're on Vista/Win7. The http://www.elderscrolls.com/redirect.php?site=http://www.auslogics.com/en/software/registry-cleaner/download/ is a great tool to fix Windows registry keys.

click the Start Menu, go to Run... type: regedit

Navigate to:
64-bit operating systems
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Bethesda Softworks\TES3 Editor

32-bit operating systems
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Bethesda Softworks\TES3 Editor

Right-click to delete the entry under TES3 Editor called Installed Path
