Okay so GameInformer finally reached my desolate shores today - delayed by snow in the US and floods in AU - anyway I'm looking through the screenshots and see this big dog walking next to what looks like an Imperial guard on page 48 The dog looks like some big Irish hound - well obviously it isn't but has anyone identified it yet?

I actually got excited when i saw it as it looks like guards might have guard dogs - all the better to chase me down with - also this might mean we could get a dog companion in game - which would suit me great for role playing

Looks like a wolfhound to me, modeled after the Irish perhaps. I'm not certain how I feel about a companion of any sort in an Elder Scrolls game but it might work and could give interesting roleplaying twists.

I bet they'll sniff you out... Not going to matter that you slipped back into the shadows if they send that after you.
