Found it!! In my game, Darvan DID have a topic of "My business" and no topic for "business". I was sorting through my load order - again - and discovered why. A mod I loaded some time ago, Tgd02 - Aldruhn Council Club (by Debi Dalio), also affects Darvan Hlaren by giving him a whole bunch of different drinks and snacks to sell (as well as drugs under the My business topic), many new topics, and a quest or two. And, I've heard that whenever two mods address the same npc, the last one takes all and the other doesn't show up. What's weird about this is that I had this one loading earlier than UL and it still seemed to change Darvan's topics to the point where I couldn't finish the shipment quest. But, as soon as I unloaded this mod, Darvan had the proper topics and I was able to finish the shipment quest.

Darn! Now, I guess I'll never find out what that "letter to Gandosa" that I picked up some time ago was all about. It was deleted when the Council Club snacks and drinks went away. But, I'd rather supply my stronghold.

Still haven't found out why Fast Eddie doesn't do the vanilla quests, though. I can still do them before taking over Telvanni, can't I?

Strange, while most of the tasks you can assign to eddie are introduced with dedicated topics and greetings ( alchemy table, the golden dawn,...) his two vanilla chores are untouched by UL, the topic chores is however. Does chores still appears for the others mouths or is Edd the only one without it?

For Aldruhn Council Club, don't delete it, just modify it's creation's date with wrye mash to be a bit early to UL's, this way you keep your mod and it doesn't override UL. Don't forget to clean your save ( sync load order + repair all).
Edd had done his two vanilla chores before my takeover of the house but I was still well advanced in UL.

Do you have any problems with Ash-Kosh? Mine crash the game each time I try him to change is gender.

I'll try that and go back to a previous save and see what happens. Will let you know. Haven't met Ask-Kosh in the game yet. I don't think I've gone far enough. Doesn't he/she show up after you explore the under tunnels and meet Uvirith? I haven't done that yet. I was afraid I'd break something since I don't have all the early quests completed yet - building the silt strider port, setting up all shipments to stronghold, etc.

By the way, have you tried Uvirith's Underground? I was thinking of adding that, but I don't know if it will cause a problem, particularly with load order. I have RohT, UL, BuUL, LGNPC - Tel Uvirith (1.2), and Town of Uvirith loaded and I'm now starting to get worried. I thought I had it all worked out until this started.

Just for info sake, I haven't mashed anything. I don't feel familiar enough, so I've just been trying to stay with unconflicting mods and/or recent patches, such as the ones made for this mod in particular. But, there is SO much kewl stuff in that combination that if it will all work, I will still be content if I can't add any more.

Nope. I put it back in, made sure it loaded before UL and LGNPC Tel Uvirith and cleaned the load order on the save. As soon as I went back in the game, the "business" topic was gone and "My business" appeared instead. Looks like the menu selection and quests from the Council Club mod still conflict somehow, or else - even more likely - the addition of this mod sets something else up to conflict and without knowing what, I can't fix it. I don't know of any others that effect that particular NPC.

Oh well. As I said, I want the stronghold supplied more than I want the new menu or the letter.

Something else - When I had the Council Club mod loaded and Repaired All in Wrye Mash, it came up with a bunch of errors and orphaned files from RohT. Maybe that's the problem? Perhaps the Council Club conflicts with that but I just didn't notice? Looked like most of the error or orphaned files were from the point when/if the Telvanni guildmaster decides to destroy the Mages Guild. (corpses and fires and stuff) I haven't gotten that far so I don't know if this is still going to cause a crash when I start that mod's quests.

I would list my load order but I'm not quite sure how to do it. A simple copy/paste from Wrye Mash doesn't seem to work.

BUUL/G and Town of Uvirith are not compatible with each others since they alters the same cell ( Uvirith's grave) and with your current load order you will not be able to use Uvirith's Underground since UL modify already the interiors cell of Tel Uvirith. My first modded Telvanni Tower was a personal version of Green Uvirith ( who add a large fortress like structure surrounding Uvirith's Grave) for the perimeter, Town of Uvirith for the settlement and Uvirith's Underground for the interiors, a great experience.

For wrye mash, USE IT, I'm sorry to shout at you like this, but it's a game saver. I recognise it not a perfect tool and he is a bit cranky since he require a specific version of Python to run, but I've lost the count of the times he have saved my game. why ?

Because Morrowind plugins launcher is as whimsically and whinny as Paris Hilton : each time you add a mod to your load order, if you don't subtract another mod to keep the corresponding values of the load order, he go bonkers and lost every corresponding values to the scripts of the mods between the one ( in the load order) you've just added and the last one.
While it's without danger for graphic and items mods, it's spell doom ( Thulsa sized and tailored) to every mods relying on scripts. And when they are the core of said big scripted mods ( GHD, GDR, RoTH, UL, every companions,....) it's the End of Times, The Great Uninstall, The Final Reboot.

Back on tracks, Wrye is easy of use, especialy usefull when it come to save managing, game back up and some small tweaks (like for the ald'ruhn council club)
on mods who in the others cases need opening the CS and the door to the thrice damned 72 GMST and others CTD.

If you need help with wrye there is plenty of Tutorials on the Beth forums, UESP wiki, or PM me, I'm not an expert on Wrye but I've tinkered a bit with him and some tuto in french since it my mother tongue.

For the load order copy past it from Morrowind.ini, look at the bottom of the file.

Edit : I' ve just seen your new post I will try ald'ruhn council club with UL.
Edit2 : Dravam work fine both in game and the CS.

Discovered my problem with Fast Eddie. I have to talk to him direct in Council Chambers. Can't use the crystal. Soon as I walked in there, he had the proper chores topic.

I do use Wrye Mash for load order changes, save cleans, and checking for problems with masters, saves, mods and all. I just haven't mashed anything together. I will check the help me instructions from the web site for more information, but I thought I read it was a very bad idea to mash quests and/or dialogue anyway.

Also, I was wrong. I don't have Town of Uvirith loaded. I was thinking about it, but I must have read about conflicts cause it's not loaded. I'd rather use UL this time through anyway. Maybe the next I will try that one. This time, I am only using RoHT, UL, BuuG, and LGNPC - Tel Uvirith (ver. 1.2). I will try a load order as soon as I can. Thanks for all your help. (I don't mind the yelling as it doesn't hurt my ears here. :) But, I am still learning all the ins and outs and honestly, I'm a bit timid about ruining my current game. It's been the most fun already since I first played Morrowind, and it took a long time to get it up to the level where I could actually use these wonderful mods.)

I just updated from version 1.10 to 2.0 and mostly everything went smoothly, however some things are acting weird.

the first and foremost problem, is gavyn and his first quest. When i updated UL i think gavyn was on his way to get those scrolls of his former master, howewer when i updated, i talked to fast eddie and he asked my if i wanted to meet gavyn even though i'd already met him.
And gavyn never goes to fetch those scrolls, but i think i have a solution, be using the startscript command on him, but i don't know what script i'll need to start.
One more thing about gavyn: He's model doesnt work. I use UL COM addon, but he's body doesnt appear correctly, it appears as a headless naked body. I've tried to disable the addon but then my save didn't work.

And yes, i did the cleaning procedure to clean my save.

I've got the angry ghost of Sara N'tashra stalking me, and I need help...

I sent her home through the follow menu from a ruin, and went to the meeting place a few days later to partner up, but she wasn't there. Rather, her body wasn't there, just her ranting voice, as if she was in battle.

I thought I could fix it by leaving and summoning her with the ring, but that just resulted in the permanent curse of an angry ghost stalker. It was funny at first, but now it's gotten old. I'd rather not console kill her. If I try to use the ring now, I get a response that says that she's on her way, but she never arrives (in body).

I also tried placeatpc, for both her NPC ID and altered NPC ID from the save game. Both worked, but the companion section of her dialog was gone.

Any help would be appreciated!

I've tried contacting the author about this mod but it seems like she's taken a break from modding. I hope she comes back to it soon! The great majority of the mod is awesome and the characters are really well-developedl I've noticed the following bugs:

1) Pop-Up error whenever you ask Ash-Kosh to change into male form; his disposition resets also
2) Ash-Kosh's teleporting script has bugged out on me several times (I get her silouette to appear but not any of the textures of her character after a teleportation) and I've had to reload. Also, there are times when I teleport to her home to retrieve her, and she's nowhere to be find, forcing me to summon her within her own home, which is kind of silly.
3) Gavyn won't learn a "Dispel" spell (he won't recognize whatever I've cast; I've tried cast on other and cast on self)
4) Dialogue loop if Gavyn is already a vampire when you talk to him after becoming one (I've made a fix for this myself)
5) Display cases won't close (someone in the community helped me find a fix for this)
6) Sara won't build her Azura shrine (someone in the community helped me find a fix for this)
7) the tome of Enchanting only works once. After that, it's state never resets and so it won't activate anymore. I tried to make a fix for this myself but the script uses too much math :P The spellmaking tome works properly though
8) The morag tong assassination would never complete; had to activate completion manually with console to make the ring appear
9) I had to activate the naked prisoner quest manually with the console. Don't know if this happened because I was already Nerevarine when I built stage 4 (vault & throne room)
10) After subduing the escaping slaves and returning them to the slave pen, the flee script won't ever go away.
11) After killing Baladas Uvirith and talking Ash-Kosh into rejoining me, whenever I enter Uvirith's tome, she's hostile whenever I see her (no matter if she was following me at the time or not)
12) After talking her into rejoining me, whenever I spar with her she no longer "regenerate" but just stay dead.
13) Whenever you complete a volume using the librarian's sorting function, on many subsequent occasions when I asked him to sort books, another "complete volume" was generated of every collection I had completed (i.e., I now have 15 copies of complete Dance of Fire and Complete Poison Song).

I've added mods to my game while using this mod, but I've always installed new mods using WryeMash, so I'm hoping none of these bugs was caused by something I did.
