Serious Sam and DNF both in 2011? And then there's that Bulletstorm game... It's going to be some crazy shooting action this year.

So 2011 isn't just a good year for RPGs.

The craziest thing of all is that AFAIK Serious Sam was generally meant to be an homage to Duke Nukem and now they're coming out side by side.

Yup, this year is going to be the crazy-brainless-FPS-fun year, and I tell you, with Dragon Age 2, Mass Effect 3 and The Elder Scrolls V coming out this year as well, I think this year might be one of the best years gaming-wise in a long time. ^_^

Pretty cool, but I can wait. Duke Nukem will be the only throwback shooter title I'll need for awhile. Gotta support Gearbox.

I still haven't finished the first or second encounter games that I got last summer on Steam but they are very fun. If anyone wants to coop them let me know and we can set something up.

I remember playing the first one back in the day with my friends, still some of the best video-game memories I have. I can't wait for this to come out, give me an excuse to go round up my jaded, bitter friends and make them blow something up with me again.

I don't play many games other than Bethesda games, but Serious Sam is one shooter I always liked. Thanks for the heads up and I might have to give it a whirl.

That would be overkill. Modern computers couldn't cope with such uber-krundleness. If you played it on pasgetti with http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stjepan_Mesi%C4%87 help, then maybe, but otherwise, no way.

Ahhhhhhhhhh duke nukem and Serious Sam; 2 crazy shooters on the N64 that i could never buy but ill be 17 come may so woot woot! The duke and Sam.... retro shooters ftw! :foodndrink:
