Can't install G.E.C.K.

I can't install the Geck. It says application has failed to start because bink32.dll was not found. My O.S. is vista i don't know if this is why does anyone know?

Also, i am using a GeForce 9200.

what do you mean by correctly? Do you mean did i pick a different place to install fallout3 other then where suggested?

You need to install GECK to directory where Fallout 3 is installed. Also, did you remember to apply the 1.5 patch to GECK?

i can't even run the geck install exe. i don't have fallout 3 in the program files. could that do it?

Yes. The GECK is worthless without the game installed.

It doesn't have to be in C:\Program Files - mine is in C:\Games - but it does have to be installed and working. Can you currently play the game on that computer?

So long as you install the geck in the same folder that contains Fallout.exe it will work.

i have the game installed and working. Just when i try to run the installation that message comes up and that is it. I am going to try again now, but as it seems I am the only person to have had this problem. Maybe I'll try to download it again. idk wtf the problem is here

i downloaded it again and now it works. That crap was weird i have no clue why it did that. Thanks everyone who tried to help me.
