Post » Tue May 17, 2011 12:00 pm

Greetings, not to long ago, i downloaded Blender 2.53 Beta.

I have to say i love the layout, and all. In the previous version, it was hard to navigate and all that with lots of windows, but this one is excellent, What do you thing

Its Blender, therefore its useless garbage !

Until its UI, Scene Management, Modifiers and scripting are as user friendly and configurable as Max or Maya it will never be used by anyone other then Amateurs -> making it a complete waste of time for anyone in or wanting to get into Game Development -> everyone else does not matter !.. :) :flamethrower: :flame:

But seriously -> I hate Blender any time I have ever had to spend in Blender is always a nightmare as it takes 20 times longer to do anything in Blender then it does in Max or Maya, its good for the price and since its free you get what you pay for !

If folks use Blender for basic modeling operations, then I recommend that you not switch to using it until the Nifscirpts are made compatible with that version, or you may run into problems. If your a hardcoe Blender user like Artisten, and want to learn all the new features, then cool. :) But I don't see them as critical to Fo3 modding from the release notes, and until it has been made fully Fo3 complaint with the official release of the Nifscripts, it can't be used for Fo3 without alot of trouble.

I haven't tried the 2.53 beta, but I did try the 2.5 alpha2, which also has the new interface. I tend to say overall I like it. The flyouts on the right side are handy, especially compared to the old UI. Like others though, I won't be using it until it's an official release and Nifscripts are final and bug-free for it.
