How would you feel about...

How would you feel about seeing the Maormer as a possible playable race in a future Elder Scrolls game, or at least in a future game as npc's?

I think it could work if a future Elderscrolls game is focused around the Summerset Isles.

(Also sorry if this is the wrong place to post this -- I'm kinda new here.)

Definitely not. They control monstrous sea serpents. We should expand on the 10 playable races we have, not add more.

An altmer with a long chameleon spell? I don't know. If there are sea serpents and they require skill to use, I suppose a maormer would do.

This. The only way Maormer could possibly make sense as a playable race is if the plot involved Pyandonea. And given the fact that we still have yet to see all of Tamriel, Pyandonea will come in a long time if ever.

We already have too many elf races as it is, so if Bethesda were to add more playable races, I would diffinately NOT want them to be Maormer, or anything that ends in mer, for that matter, so no, I'd say we don't need this.

After Oblivion we all have this lingering, pathological fear of Bethesda overextending themselves.
