Voltron

I loved Voltron when it first came out. Now it looks like it's coming http://www.voltron.com/main.asp. I was excited at first, then I looked at it quickly and was a bit disapointed. The art doesn't look as great, or I should say, the characters don't look as good as they did over 25 years ago.

So just letting anyone know who ever loved or liked Voltron it's coming back later in the fall I belive, if I read it correctly. It looks like they are making a http://www.gamespot.com/news/6298896.html?tag=latestheadlines%3Btitle%3B5 for it as well. The game is supposed to be based on the Original Voltron, so that should make me a happy camper.

Now I am curious, if we will get both versions of Voltron or just the ones with the Lions only. So far it looks like the Lions only. I loved both versions and hope they do both in the games.

So anyone looking forward to this?

No. Classic cartoons should remain dead so they don't get turned into crap like other shows of today.

Really don't know what to think about it. I watched it when I was in primary school. Fun for its time but I'm not really appreciated with that cartoon when I looked back after all these years.

As for the computer game. I'd think about it just because it's THQ.

Am I the only one who read the title and immediately started imagining zombie robots?

Not all of it is cruddy. I point to http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0976192/ (helps that http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stan_Lee was behind it), http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0343314/, and http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0486069/. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0278866/, too, if it counts as 'today'.

EDIT: I forgot http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0417299/ . http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1641384/episodes is supposed to be good, though I haven't watched it myself.
EDIT2: From what I've seen so far, http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1636691/ isn't bad, either.
EDIT3: Uh, and my point is that every era has lots of forgettable stuff, and a few that stand out.
