The most Epic Accomplishment of my video gaming career!

Alright, the mission is "The Trump Card" in the Terran Campain.

You start with a Stealth unit., 5 Svcs. a few bunkers and basic facories and infantry. Your mission is to take the Stealth Unit and the pulse emitter to the enemy base.

Over the course of 2hours I built tanks, infantry, detector units, Mechs, everything and I just kept throwing them at the opposing forces, attacking them from all sides.

Near the end I had no more materials to make units from and I sent my last wave at the enemy, my wave was crushed by 2 enemy tanks and a Battlecruiser (BEASTY SHIP).

So I think Ive lost, but what the hell I have to try right. All I have left is around 20 footsoilders maybe 28 SVC units (SVCs have virtually no combative ability) and my ghost. Im thinking there is no way and I have resigned myself to defeat.

So I rush this pathetic battalion toward the enemy base, no tact or stragey, just a rush.

Little did I know that I do to my earlier all-angles attack I had spread the enemy out to far apart to respond. My ghost and an SVC unit holding the pulse emitter arrived at the target location just as that battle cruiser and about 7 enemy tanks were closing in.

This is without a doubt the most satisfying victory I have had in 20+years of gaming. WOW!

That was a pretty fun mission.

I built maybe three wraiths and took out the tanks on the cliffs, then just rushed with a couple stacks of marines using stimpacks and walked my ghost and scv in behind them.

I suppose this is a "videogame accomplishments" thread.

The only one I still really remember was in Halo 2. A rumblepit match (free for all deathmatch to 25), and I got first place using only sticky grenades. At the end I had 25 sticks, and zero bullets fired. Sadly, Halo 2 didn't have theater or a way to save game records in any way. WHAT I WOULD GIVE FOR THAT REPLAY.

A three hour long final match for Kingdom Under Fire: The Crusaders (Xbox), it all ends with the ending cinematic movie which was ruined by my parents when they come in talk. The accomplishment? I'm surprised that I didn't RAGE at them. Maybe I was too numbed from the experience.

Okay, a serious accomplishment now, I was farming for Diablos parts in Monster Hunter Freedom (1) for PSP, the mission is to kill two of them within 50mins, not that hard if you can find them. Killed the 2nd Diablos when the clock was literally counting down to zero. Now that typing these, I realise that they aren't really accomplishment, more like my lousy luck.

I guess the real accomplishment was when I was playing an online FPS, way way back in history when Counter Strike was still polygonic and ugly, five to six head shots in a row using sniper rifle. Then got banned for it. :D

I am a monument to all of your sins in halo. The last mission was terrible, elites at the start were bad, but then you get to some swarming enemies that respawned in a cave you had to run through. Then I remember dying alot getting to the pillar of autumn, then defending it from brutes. That was desperate as I had to run up to and punch a brute chieftan (big guy with gravity hammer) to kill him after my gun ran out. Then you get to the final room, 4 elite zealots, with overshields. That mission alone took 2 hours +. It was as bad as nightfall (that sniper mission with Jun took roughly as long, terrible mission.)

It was either that or getting careful guidance in BFBC2 mainly because that achivement took me many, many tries, but it feels rewarding to get it.

Or RDR killing a bear with a knife when you have 4 other bears chasing you, 1 hit killing you, and ou cant kill them because they respawn because you are in the bears spawn point.

Any time you get accused of cheating while playing legit is always an accomplishment. This happened to me once while playing BF1942 Desert Combat. Apparently some people don't get that if you set up your controls right you can aim your aircraft with your mouse making it easier to hit things.

I got an Engy to call me a camper when I was playing Solly in TF2.
What did I do? I destroyed his sentry while grabbing their intelligence.

I like to think of every ragequit I cause as a personal achievement.

First time I played L4D2 on versus, I spawned with the Jockey and managed to kill three survivors out of 4. :D
I haven't played versus since though, it's not my favorite mode.

Versus was always my favorite, but I loved the regular campaign mode too. That game was just awesome with extra awesome on top. When you got a good game of versus going, there always seemed to be epic moments occuring one after another.:P

When I was playing a space battle on Star wars Battlefront 2 I managed to kite three of my friends around the area. After a good amount of time of me evading them, I flew with my clone ship through the droid capital while spinning perfectly through cause my friends to crash. That was a glorious achievement of mine.

I had flying on that game almost down to an art form.

First time on xbox live, christmas day a good few years ago. Put in Halo 2, spent a while messing about till I discovered the SWAT playlist. I was insanely good at it, to the point that I had what sounded like a 10 year old screaming down the mic at me about my hacking whilst he was crying. So yeah. My Halo 2 skills made a small child cry on christmas day.

Today I went 22-1 in Black Ops with just a shotgun. I have it up on file share if you have a PS3.

Im sure there are countless victories in the Total War series that I can't remember. I do remember one where I was fighting an enemy with a full army, but I only had like...my general, another unit of cavalry, some triarii and 2 units of principes i think.

I am sure that I do not need to tell you this, but Oh. My God... did that take a lot of tries. You practically had to be good enough to basically be able to do it with your eyes closed to even get close to the target.

There was this one time I beat the elite four
Spoiler
but I had actually excessively leveled my Pokemon so that I went though all four between two of them

But I would have to say the missions and skill level I honed on for the original Soul Calibur on Dreamcast.
> 3 minutes time on arcade by the way.

It's gotten to the point where I beat the Elite Four at least three times each game. I have no life.

Returning a punt for a touchdown in Tecmo Bowl which is next to impossible.

I still kind of sort of remember that moment.

I used to play it every time i came home from work and one time i was so sick i kept struggling to stay awake.

I blacked out during a punt and when i came too TOUCHDOWN! was drawn across the screen.

Best moment ever..only i dont remember it.

When I finally caught them all on Pokemon Red.

I haven't managed to do that on any of the other Pokemon games though, mainly because I got bored of looking for hours on end. The only reason I did it on the first game was because it was the only GB game I had.

I did feel very pleased with myself after that. :D
